| Body3 series - The Upper Girdle: Balancing the Shoulder and Arm |
The shoulder girdle rests on the rib cage and hangs from the neck, and most long-term shoulder dysfunctions involve imbalances in all three areas. Because its bony structure is designed for movement, this girdle is highly dependent on the balance within its fascial web for proper position and function. In this course, we combine thorough postural assessment of the shoulder girdle with fundamental myofascial release techniques for the entire appendage. Take your treatment of this crucial area farther by addressing underlying relationships between the thorax, arm and head. Learn techniques to address the: Each of the Body3 series is a short, intensive course, limited to specific anatomy and heavy on manual soft-tissue technique. Each course focuses on 15 – 20 core ‘templates’ for technique, which can be applied in different ways for the specific postural patterns in your clients. Open to manual practitioners; wear comfortable clothing appropriate for visual assessment. |
