You will learn the beginning techniques of massage therapy as well as how to apply those techniques and see positive results for many common soft tissue problems or injuries.

How to use massage for increasing athletic performance, reducing injury and maintaining overall health will also be covered.

The class is designed to take a very hands on approach to learning. There will be technique demonstrations and explanations followed by one on one instruction where you are free to ask specific questions about massage and how it can be of benefit to you. You will practice the techniques you learn in class on your partner, this allows you to truly learn the material in an effective manner that is relative to your specific needs.
